Apr 27, 2020The total_blocks doesn’t take draft status into account when counting blocks on root level (no nesting involved).
Both
{your_field_name:total_blocks}and
{your_field_name:total_blocks type="shortname"}returns 2 when having a bloq field containing two blocks with draft status .
