Aug 15, 2019When removing ALL rows from a Grid field the rows are not being deleted. If we only change one row things work as expected but when removing ALL grid rows nothing is changed. To replicate add a single Grid row and save (either as Draft or Published). Then attempt to delete that single row and not adding any more (Draft or Published).
We have alot of other things going on (extensions, etc) so the starting question is just whether you can replicate this.

Hi, Ron. That sounds a lot like this issue, which is a known bug and I’m pretty sure an EE bug (the hook Publisher needs to delete rows isn’t being called by EE in this scenario).

Sounds exactly like what is happening. I’ll contribute what I can to the debugging. Thanks and I’ll follow up in the Github thread if I find anything.
