Jan 24, 2018Description: Hi I originally has bloqs installed and all worked fine. I recently installed publisher lite 2.7.3 for the drafts work flow.
All seems fine until i added a new entry with the bloq field. The entry title displays bit no content from my bloq fields
Any entry from before i installed publisher will display the bloq field content but any new entries wont
Detailed steps to reproduce the issue:
1. go to template http://dev.eitfood.eu/home/test
2. this is loading an entry from channel pages hat has blow content
3. Blow content does not display

Please backup your database, uninstall Publisher, then see if it works. I need to know if this is a Publisher issue or an issue with the latest version of Bloqs. You said you’re on 3.3.3, what was the previous version you had installed before you upgraded today?

I’m unable to replicate locally. Entries in EE3 with existing blocks display the existing blocks fine. I opened an existing entry with no blocks, added blocks, and they saved fine.

At first your template was not displaying anything b/c you only saved entry 228 as a draft and were trying to load the open content in the template. When I went to save the entry as open/published it inserted the entry_id into the field_id column in the exp_blocks_block table, which is something I’m not able to replicate locally. You have a lot of add-ons installed. Can you setup a clean EE environment with only Publisher and Bloqs installed to try to replicate the issue?

I just tested on a different computer with a different EE install and can’t replicate the issue. I have an entry, save it as a draft with 2 new blocks assigned. The newly created blocks appear when editing the entry again, then save the entry as Published with the 2 existing blocks, plus a new 3rd block and all of them save correctly.
Let me know what your results are with the new build I sent in your current environment, and a new/clean EE install.

Stephen, Is there anything special about the channel or field? E.g. are either set to ignored by Publisher?

Hey Brian,
Btw it’s actually Kristine at TradeMark Media - he forwarded the build you sent to me, and that seems to be working. FYI there was nothing special about the field i.e. it wasn’t being set to ignore.
One thing - that build you sent was for Publisher Lite and we actually needed the full version (we’re using the multilingual capabilities without drafts enabled).
