Jul 26, 2012Is there a way to set the default properties for elements in Wyvern or CKEditor?
For example, when adding a table, the default properties are a width of 500px, border of 1, cellpadding 1, cellspacing 1. I ALWAYS need these to be empty or “0” because I am controlling those properties via the stylesheet. This currently means I have to train the client on clearing those properties out every time, which as you can guess is a full proof way to ensure those elements are never going to look right once the site is handed over.

I’m not sure if there is a way to change the defaults without editing the source code. It doesn’t look like there are any config options to override it. http://docs.cksource.com/ckeditor_api/symbols/CKEDITOR.config.html
