hi brian,

there are problems with this last build you’ve send me.
in a seperate (new) install for our website (local on a macbook) we have problems during publisher configuration.

clicking on “Preview Templates” we get several warnings and notices.
similar but less errors we get while clicking on “Ignore Settings”.

attached you’ll find some screenshots.

regards,
matthias

Are you working on an MSM site?

#2

Matthias Ballmann

no, I’m just traveling and develop the website locally on my macbook. the website runs locally on MAMP.

That is a very strange error to be getting. I’m unable to replicate it, and to me it indicates that the query getting the custom fields for the site is failing (which I’ve never seen happen) or the site has no custom fields defined.

Matthias, can you confirm that you have custom fields added to the site?

Also in Service/ChannelField.php line 205 can you add this var_dump($fields); die(); and then try to replicate the error. Copy/paste the output from the var_dump() into the ticket that renders on the page when the error occurs.

Matthias, is this still an issue? Is this a new/different site than the one you’re referring to in your other ticket? (https://boldminded.com/support/ticket/1540)

I think this only happens during local installs because the errors disappear since I moved the install from the macbook to a server.

BoldMinded (Brian)

Can you tell me which version of MySQL and php you’re using in each server?

#8

Matthias Ballmann

we use mysql 5.7 and php 7.1.6 FPM (P+) on the server and mysql 5.6 and php 7.1.2 on the local install on my macbook.

I’m going to close this because I’ve been unable to replicate this issue and no one else has reported a similar issue.
