Does publisher work with structure? And to what extent?
I have a bunch of publisher pages, which I have translated in the admin panel, using different urls for each language, which in my switcher seems to work (ie the switcher is pointing to the correct:
/en/english-title
/es/spanish-title
But this is not updating any breadcrumbs, which is in my structure setup set to:
So my question is, is there any breadcrumbs that work, if it doesn’t play ball with structure?
Also I noticed that the structure url edited in my entry, would not always display the current language version, but the last one I entered, even though I switched my language picker in the admin panel. I have attached a screen grab to view it.
Last but not least, whenever I am in structure and I switch from spanish to english, the admin panel logs me out. I have double checked my admin panel which is set to my local cp system folder so not sure what that is?

Yes it works with Structure. Please use the demo.boldminded.com site to see if you can replicate the issue there. Edit templates or do whatever to try to replicate it. If you can replicate it there then I’ll take a look into it.

Same on Demo site. Edited the cards entry to add a french version - cartes. When I changed the structure url in french and saved it, then went to english, it leaves the french version in the url for structure.

might have to enable the french language to take a peek and see if it indeed pulls in the structure bits into the front-end…

and you don’t have any structure breadcrumbs in there, so no idea how to test that.

You can edit templates and add the breadcrumbs tag.

I see the issue with the url title. Its saving correctly, just not displaying the correct value when reloading the entry. This was an issue in the past that should have been resolved. Unsure if its a Publisher issue or Structure issue.

Structure 4.1.13 introduced a breaking change for me. I’ll have to figure out a work around. Could be a few days before I get a new version to you.

I added a change to the shards german version to test the breadcrumb from structure, it is in the main layout at the top menu near languages, and the entry is looking for approval. I will try this version now.

That build didn’t change what I am seeing for the update in the structure tab on save.

demo.boldminded.com has been updated with that same build and I see it working. Check out the “Shards” page in French.

What version of structure are you using? Did you have to uninstall publisher to get the new code in place? or add the files?

ok that version worked for the language view in structure.
Any ideas on what I should be doing so I don’t get logged out? Once a save something in english then witch to spanish, it logs me out and I have to log back in to edit.

I don’t know why you’re getting logged out. That isn’t something that happens for me locally or on the demo site… it also doesn’t sound like any behavior Publisher has control over.

actually that last version solved the login-out problem too for whatever reason, so happy days.
Only just the breadcrumb now, but I can open a new ticket if needed?
