Can you preview bloqs in a draft entry without the bloqs being published on the website at te same time? If so, I don’t seem to be able to make it work. What settings and / or tamplate tags should I check?

Blocks should be given a draft status too. Are you using status=”{publisher:entry_status}” in your entries tag?

I am, but only EE native fields seem to show in the preview without being published. Bloqs are always published. Am I missing specific settings? I’m using both the latest Bloqs & the latest Publisher Lite 2

Ok, I’m seeing this happen locally too. Its a bug… will try to have it fixed soon.

Can you do me a favor and make sure these hooks are in the exp_extensions table?

I ran the update, but no success. I uninstalled Publisher and re-installed it, but apparently I still keep getting memory exhausted and maximum execution time exceeded after waiting for 20 minutes or longer. Eventhough I set post_max_size & memory_limit to 2048M and max_execution_time to 3600 in the htaccess. It looks like the installation process runs through all entries (more than 9500 for this website) ??

9500 entries is a lot. Possibly more than the importer can handle. Its mentioned in the docs that installation can be slow with 500+ entries, so 9500 can definitely cause issues (http://docs.boldminded.com/publisher/issues-tips).

I’ll try to give this another look next week or the week after (July 4th week is busy with vacation plans). This has really only been an issue for a couple other customer, so making the import work with thousands of entries keeps getting pushed down the priority list. Sounds like its time that I re-address it. Sorry for the trouble this has caused. In the mean time you can try to max the memory limit and and set an infinite execution time to see if the import succeeds.

Okay, that explains. Thank you so far: I’ll try the memory limit & execution time thing and wait for any news you can bring me after next week. Have a nice vacation!

Note that build should be able to handle thousands of entries better. It writes a query to a text file in the cache dir, then runs the query on step 2 via a db transaction. So if it still fails at that point you at least have a copy of the query in the text file that you can manually run against the db and take PHP (the slow part) out of the equation.

I just released 2.6, grab the download from your account to test it.

#15

BoldMinded (Brian)

Remember to uninstall then reinstall so the new migration process gets all of your entries.

Going to close this b/c the 2.6 release should fix this issue. If you find that it does not feel free to re-open the ticket.

Just reopened to say thank you! I’ve been ill for a couple of days, but I’ve downloaded the latest version and the script is running right now!
