Jan 11, 2017Description: We are wanting to use Publisher on our site but require NavEE to also be translated. I know you’ve mentioned that this will be something added in as time allows. Could you provide a ballpark timeframe? Need to get an idea of whether we should move forward with an alternative solution or wait it out.

I don’t have plans to start the NavEE support this month. Next on my agenda was working on converting Wyvern Video.

On second thought I can start working on the NavEE extension. Its smaller so I might be able to get it released in a 2-4 weeks.

I was able to convert the code over in about an hour, but I don’t have a new copy of NavEE to actually test it. So assuming they didn’t change anything I should be able to get an updated version of the add-on out fairly soon.

We are about to work on a new project that requires Publisher 2/NavEE integration on an EE 3 site. Is that extension still in the works?

Hi, Kristine. Unfortunately it is not. I never heard back from the Outfit, and to be honest there hasn’t been any demand for this, so I’ve been prioritizing other things. If I were to work on this it would have to be on a contract basis, again b/c of the lack of demand. I wouldn’t be able to recoup my time from future sales. I’m actually trying to reduce my time spent working on add-ons, so I’m hesitant to take on a contract project at this time. What is the timeline you’re working with for this project?

Just an update on this… I’ve started making the updates and so far so good, I just need to test the output of the nav tags on the front end.

Sounds like Michael at The Outfit has approved of my changes to NavEE and will release it soon. I’ll re-enable the Publisher for NavEE extension as available for sell on this site soon after. Closing this ticket.
