Jun 08, 2012I was using a different snippet sync plugin for a site that is now using MSM to add another site. I purchased Snippet Sync because it has MSM compatibility. Here ‘s the order I did things…
- Removed old SnippetsSync plugin
- snippets for SiteA were in a “snippets” folder, I put them in “default_site” folder which will be for SiteA
- Installed Snippet Sync plugin
- refreshed the CP, profit?
Unfortunately nothing was synced. Have a missed a step, am I doing anything wrong?
The snippet files are set to 777 permissions. Thanks for any help!

Re-read the docs again and realized I didn’t set the snippets folder path in my config.php…
I added the complete server path and refreshed the snippets page and it worked! But it had duplicates of the snippets because I already had them in the database from previously(I’m assuming). Since I wasn’t sure which was which, I deleted them all in hopes I could sync again, but now they won’t sync. Any ideas? Did I just F myself? Thanks!

Hi Mike. Did you create folder groups within default_site? E.g. default_site/global.group. its set to mimic the template folder srructure.
BTW, my parents are in town so I may not be able to dive into this until early next week, but i can try to assist here. You can also talk to @airways on twitter, we both wrote the ext, so he can help debug too.

Glad you got somewhere. Try uninstalling then reinstaling so it clears the hashes, it should rsync then

So I just added the snippets through the control panel and they appear to be syncing with the files correctly. Please ignore me 😉
