If I edit in source view, all EE tags are converted to entities although I have my preferences set not to encode EE tags.

So this:

{filedir_1)

Becomes this:

“https://boldminded.com/assets/images/uploads/

Is there any way to prevent this?

Hi John, can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing? I assume you’re using Wyvern 1.4? What does your config.js file look like?
